History | Wheatlands Plantation is a historic property located in Sevierville, Tennessee, United States. It was built in the early 19th century by James Cantrell, a prominent businessman and farmer in the area. The property features a two-story log cabin that was built in the early 1800s, as well as a one-story dogtrot-style cabin that was added later. The log cabin is made of hand-hewn logs and features a stone chimney, while the dogtrot cabin has a gabled roof and a central breezeway.
Wheatlands Plantation is a significant example of early pioneer architecture in the Sevierville area.
